Nikola Tesla

Nikola Tesla was born at midnight between the 9th and the 10th of July 1856, in the village of Smiljan, then a part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and now lies on Croatia's territory.

The story tells us that a fierce thunderstorm raged the night he was born into this world. As a result, the midwife delivering him reportedly said to his mother:

"He will be a child of darkness."

But just like any mother, she intuitively knew that wasn't true, and she replied:

"No, he will be a child of light."

Surely, there's no historical account for this story, maybe it is just a myth! But Tesla definitely lived up to this story.

He became an inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, and futurist best known for his revolutionary contributions to the development of alternating current (AC) electrical systems.

Tesla is also widely regarded for his famous quotes:

If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration
